The Vongole went the other direction, staying light and clean without turning salty, so the two paired well together on the same table. The Diavola piled thin salami slices across the dough for a salty punch in every bite, and the Mortadella pizza, wrapping burrata in mortadella and finished with pesto, read as the clear signature dish of the visit.
