Review

This is a noodle specialty shop opened by chef Kim Do-yoon of Michelin one-star Yoon Seoul. Yes, the same chef who appeared as a White Spoon on Culinary Class Wars. It's tucked into a side street in Apgujeong Rodeo, and the noodles come served in traditional brassware.

You have to order the spicy vegetable bibim noodles. Mushrooms, bracken, and bamboo shoots sit over a gochujang dressing, and once you toss it all together the vegetables add real crunch to every bite. The bracken noodles soak up perilla oil so well that one chopstick-full sends up this nutty aroma. Personally, the bracken noodles stayed with me the longest — simple, but the kind of taste you keep thinking about.

The brassware presentation is gorgeous and the space is spotless. For noodles from a Michelin chef at this price, it's my number one pick in Apgujeong.
