Review
Near City Hall Station, this place gets long lines every summer.
They win you over with one dish: kongguksu. The soybean broth comes in a stainless bowl and it's genuinely thick. When you lift the noodles with your chopsticks, the broth clings to them in a heavy coat, so good. One bite and that nutty aroma rises right up to your nose. Have it with a piece of kimchi and your summer lunch is complete.
It's a summer-only thing, so once the season passes you can't get it. There's a bit of a wait at lunch, but the turnover is fast so it goes quick. When you're craving kongguksu near City Hall, nothing beats this place.
