Hidden along a quieter Gyeongridan lane, Ahn's Makgeolli is a Korean liquor bar where reservations are essential. Its modern interpretation of traditional Korean drinking culture has earned continuing Michelin Guide recognition, yet the room still feels like a place passed between people who know it well.
The squid sundae is the signature and tastes as good as it looks. There is a broad selection of makgeolli, and the staff offered thoughtful pairing suggestions; with cleanly composed dishes and softly flavored house-brewed options, it also works nicely as a second stop.
