The thick buttermilk pancakes arrive with sausage, bacon, scrambled eggs, and potatoes crowding the same plate. The inside stays moist and pulls apart in soft layers, and eating it with the melted butter on top felt like the ideal start to a weekend brunch. If you're after something sweeter, the chocolate pancake — draped in a heavy dark chocolate sauce — is worth ordering.
The omelette was a nice surprise, puffed up souffle-style and meant to be split open with a fork rather than cut. The waffle brunch plate, topped with a whole roasted chicken leg, is the better choice if you're arriving hungry.
