Yeongdong Jangeo

Review
Yeongdong Jangeo is a grilled eel restaurant in Nonhyeon, Seoul, built around live charcoal grilling. The signature eel is cut into pieces with scissors and put back on the grill until the surface turns crisp, with savory scallion oil running through every bite.
To close out the meal, the eel stone pot bibimbap brings charcoal-scented eel meat over hot stone pot rice, mixed together for a warming finish. Overall it's a straightforward charcoal-grilled eel spot recommended as a proper health meal in the Nonhyeon/Gangnam area.
