BABU
바부
Review
Set in a backstreet in Hannam-dong, BABU is full of European bistro atmosphere.
Start with the jambon sandwich — sourdough piled high with jambon, cornichons, and a scatter of herbs. The avocado sandwich came alongside it, with basil aromas up front and sun-dried tomato as the accent. The broccolini is grilled and served over a cream purée, finished with Parmigiano for a nutty edge, and the fish roe pasta, topped with fish roe and dill, kept pulling the fork back for more.
Every plate arrives in a different color, so the table looks good the moment the food lands. It's a quiet, unhurried place that makes you want to linger.
