Daebong Kalguksu Bossam
대봉칼국수보쌈
Review
Four minutes from Exit 8 of Sinsa Station, inside Gangnam Market. Walk through the market alley and you'll find this tidy little Korean spot.
On a bamboo basket, bossam, blanched octopus, and oysters come packed together. The bossam has just the right amount of fat rendered off, so it's clean-tasting, and it falls apart along the grain when you pull it.
We ordered the kalguksu too, and the broth is so comforting it could be a full meal on its own! Personally, the real charm here is putting an oyster on top of the bossam and eating it all in one bite.
When you're craving bossam in Sinsa, this is the first place that comes to mind, haha.
